They do! Whether they are good or bad the voices in your head are shaping your future.
When you repeatedly curse the alarm clock for going off too early and complain that you’re not a morning person, how often do you think you will wake up early and be happy?
What if instead the alarm goes off and you choose to think about all the great things you get to do that day?
How excited about life will you be if you’re constantly telling yourself you’re fat, you’re out of shape, you have no will power, and you don’t deserve success?
What if instead you focus on what you are proud of and visualize your success?
All I’m saying is it’s hard to be happy when you are living with a bully in your head. Choose your words kindly.
- focus on what you can do
- remind yourself that you are strong and that you can do this
- tell yourself that you deserve to be happy and that you are worthy of success
That last one, wow. You are worthy of success. Repeat that until you believe it and your life will change.
